Postdoctoral Research Associate – Indiana U.

A postdoctoral fellowship is presently available with the many-body nuclear dynamics group at Indiana University, Bloomington. The group is presently engaged in developing a novel radiation detector. This new detector has the potential to impact a broad range of scientific fields. The successful candidate will be expected to take the lead role in the design and testing of this new detector. Candidates are expected to have experience with modern nuclear instrumentation and data analysis techniques. They are expected to have a strong background in instrumentation at both the hardware and software levels. Experience with advanced simulation and analysis tools in desirable.
 
The Many-Body Nuclear Dynamics group is situated at the Center for the Exploration of Energy and Matter (CEEM) on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington. Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in nuclear/particle physics or radiation detection or expect to defend their Ph.D. thesis in the near future. A competitive salary along with a benefits package will be offered.
