Director EHS – Reed College

The Director of Environmental Health and Safety has primary responsibility for assessing environmental and occupational health and safety risks. Working closely with faculty, students and staff to recognize conditions, the Director provides information and training for safe practices in science laboratories, workshops, classrooms, offices and publicly accessed spaces. Located on a beautiful 116-acre campus in southeast Portland, there are just over one million square feet of buildings. Reed College has 385 staff, 150 faculty, and 1453 students. This role reports to the Director of Facilities Operations on all campus environmental and occupational risk management issues and reports directly to the Vice President and Treasurer on issues of radiation safety.
