Faculty Position for Physical/Radiochemist at Florida International University

Assistant Professor – Physical Chemistry / Radiochemistry (Experimental). The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida International University invites applications for a Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor position in Radiochemistry to begin in August 2016.

A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field and experience with research in nuclear chemistry or radiochemistry are required. The successful candidate: (a) Must develop a vigorous, extramurally funded research program at FIU with substantial graduate and undergraduate student involvement. (b) Will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Physical Chemistry, plus additional courses in his / her area of specialization. (c) Is expected to play a major role in the growth of our newly established doctoral Radiochemistry Track
